Welcome to the Hidden Hills Community
The community of Hidden Hills is nestled between the western foothills of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County, at the Ventura County line. Our nearly 2,000 residents enjoy a rural, country way of life that has nearly vanished from Southern California. The pastoral setting is highlighted by the absence of sidewalks and street lights and by the presence of horses, llamas, ostriches, and the occasional cow. The deep setbacks, white three-rail fences, corrals, barns, natural rustic equestrian trails tell visitors that Hidden Hills is a truly special place to live.
Hidden Hills is governed by two separate entities: the City of Hidden Hills and the Hidden Hills Community Association.
The Association is responsible for reviewing and approving construction on or modification of any of the 648 home sites and for maintaining all of the common areas, which include six miles of roads, three gate houses, 25 miles of bridle trails, three community riding arenas, four tennis courts, a competition-size pool, recreation center, and a state-of-the-art, 99-seat performing arts/movie theater.
The Association is comprised of a seven-member Board of Directors, all of whom are volunteers and homeowners; various committees; and on-site management staff. The General Manager is supported by an Assistant Manager, Office Assistant and Architectural Inspector. The Association also contracts with an Architectural Consultant who assists the Architectural Committee as well as residents wishing to submit plans for approval.
