All modifications to the exterior of any home or building site require prior approval by the Hidden Hills Architectural Committee.

Exterior modifications include, but are not limited to, painting; changing windows, doors, roofs; remodeling; repairs; landscaping; tree planting or removal; driveways; hardscape; retaining walls; concrete work or any other type of exterior work. Please refer to the Architectural Standards for rules governing such work. Most work that needs a City Building Permit also needs Architectural Approval. Commencing construction/modifications without prior Architectural Committee approval or constructing improvements different from what is shown on the approved plans is strictly prohibited and will likely result in a Stop Work Notice being issued and a Board hearing being scheduled. Fines and sanctions may also be issued..
